Really, really great chicken burrito w/ everything. Hot sauce (red) is the best I've found anywhere. Burritos and sauce are so good (Best we've found in or out of California) we get them both weekly (w/ a bag or two of chips) and it's big enough to make lunch for Monday and Tuesday. Torta w/ carne asada also very good. Chips good as well w/ the red hot sauce. They also make a really good breakfast (Juevos Rancheros (ask for side of chorizo) w/ eggs sunny side up) at a very fair price. We enjoy the breakfast after our Sunday early morning trail walk. This is an AUTHENTIC, super casual, hole in the wall establishment. I was a bit annoyed reading the other reviews and decided to give my two cents. Being born and raised Redwood City near "little Mexico" (middlefield between marsh and woodside) I love affordable good Mexican food on the go and this place checks all the boxes. Best tripa tacos! Yes- it gets busy and is popular for lunch. Service is welcoming - they are nice here.

El Charrito is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants on the peninsula. We've been coming here for their fantastic wet burritos for the past three years. Highly recommend!

Very generous portions and excellent food! Little taqueria on the corner of Holly and El Camino Real gets great reviews and very popular. I've been wanting to try them for some time now and finally got the chance. Tiny little parking lot is a little cumbersome to maneuver but worth it, the Mexican cuisine is great, fresh and totally satisfying on a Taco Tuesday! I ordered the super taco with chicken, quesadilla with meat (steak) and side of beans (whole pintos). I love pinto beans!! Love them! These beans are great and flavorful. The quesadilla is made different from others I've had in the past, something how they grill it is fantastic! I love it! The cheese is delicious. The super taco with chicken is awesome. Chicken packs great flavor from spices and marinade. The street taco sized corn tortillas holding all the taco goodness together are fantastic! I love a great corn tortilla. Everything is super fresh and made well. As a to-go order, everything was thoughtfully packaged. They added little bag of chips in my order, too. Chips are pretty good, not homemade but good. Lots of salsa here! There's a salsa and chips bar and it's all freshly made. Nice peeps, great service, cute taqueria that's very popular in this area and great Mexican favorites on their menu reasonably priced. I will definitely return very soon! Mucho Gracias!

Ordered through GrubHub for take out. Easy to order through GrubHub. They give lists of choices for proteins or just cheese option if you choose the enchilada combination. This taqueria is located on the busy corner of Holly St and El Camino Real. There is a very small parking lot for about 4 cars plus one handicap parking spot. There is a sign at the entrance that says no dogs allowed. Dining is only indoors. Pick up was right on time. Ordered the 2 cheese enchilada combination meal. I was glad to have received chips but disappointed in the chips because it lacked the crispness and seemed stale. The green dipping sauce was just the right amount of spicy with citrus punch. The red dipping sauce is just too spicy for my taste buds. I appreciated the organized meal in the container separating the salad from the beans and enchilada. I liked how the rice shared the enchilada area as the enchilada sauce helped with the flavor of the rice.

A low key taco spot. They are very quick at getting your order ready. It's also great chill place to dine-in. We stayed at Trestle apartment when we first moved to the Bay area and this spot was absolutely perfect for us. It's also very reasonably priced for its location. The staff is very friendly and nice.
